Early Years Apprentice | Worthing, BN11 3RT

Full-time

Salary: £5.00 to £6.56  per hour

The nursery is set in a beautiful, detached Edwardian villa in central Worthing. Located close to the seafront, the property retains many of its stunning original features, such as stained glass windows, picture rails and fireplaces whilst benefiting from being completely refurbished to a very high standard.

The Worthing setting is a small, bespoke nursery which offers a warm and cosy home from home feel. The nursery features an all weather wrap-around garden, outdoor classroom and sensory garden and is perfectly located for ‘Beach School’, a completely new and unforgettable way for the children to immerse themselves in the wonders of the UK’s seaside.

Play is at the very heart of the ethos of this nursery and the setting has been thoughtfully designed to allow children the opportunity to enjoy learning. The innovative and exciting curriculum has been designed to give children the widest range of opportunities and the success of this approach can be measured in the children’s high level of achievement.

Childcare is an exciting, rewarding career. The successful apprentice applicants will support the nursery’s vision and create a truly outstanding early years experience for the children, whilst establishing a nurturing environment and encouraging curiosity in the children’s development. You will;

Early Years Apprentice Forest School - Washington RH20 4BA

Full-time

Salary: £5.00 to £10.00  per hour

This is a stunning Child Care Setting, nestled in the beautiful South Downs, supporting children aged 0-5 years old all year round or term timely. We are located within the beautiful grounds of a Farm. The children go onto Schools like Ashington, The Vale, Findon, Worthing, Horsham, Storrington, Steyning, West Chiltington, and Shipley. They are lucky enough to have a wealth of facilities and resources available to them including two forest schools, a walled garden, a greenhouse and a farm with our own donkeys, sheep and chickens. The children explore and develop their senses and skills in a huge range of environments. The setting blends indoor and outdoor classrooms in a home-away-from-home environment and creates a space where children feel empowered and ready to learn.

Childcare is an exciting, rewarding career. The role available would be working in a nursery with children aged from 0 – 5 years all year round.

The role will be varied and involve all aspects of supporting children to develop and assisting them with their daily routines. You will get the opportunity to work with all age groups as your knowledge grows.

Alongside working in setting we will provide you with all the learning and support you need to complete the early years qualification.

You will learn about all areas of development and how you can make a difference to a child’s development. You’ll need to be committed to both the setting and the qualification.

Own transport is essential for this role and comitment to working outside in all weather.

 

Early Years Apprentice | Preston, PR1 8UY

Full-time

Salary: From £4.81 to £9.50 per hour

You will be part of an energetic and enthusiastic team who deliver high quality care and education for their children and deliver the care, learning and play of the children in such a way that they are well cared for and safe.

You will learn about the Early Years Foundation Stage and how the nursery delivers their Curriculum and Children’s Learning and Development plans. You will learn how to record progress for each key child using the nursery’s Elite EYFS system.

You will learn how the setting ensures the environments in which you will teach and care for the children are properly set up, clean, safe and hygienic.

You will be;

  • Working as a childcare practitioner to support children through play in their learning and development.
  • Working with parents and families to support them.
  • Working as part of a team to develop and maintain an exciting and inspiring learning environment for the children to support them to achieve their learning objectives and lay foundations for them to to become successful as they move onwards from nursery into the big wide world.

Training will be offered to support the apprentice practitioners to move through their qualification and you will have a workplace mentor who will develop your learning and development program within the company and a peer-buddy to support you.
