Our Ofsted ready, audit and preparation packages are intended to support practitioner’s/manager’s/owner’s understanding of the regulation requirements. Every day in childcare should be a day where inspection is a possibility and therefore providers should always be ‘Ofsted ready’. We aim to provide you with the knowledge and understanding you need to ensure you are delivering the EYFS and that your systems provide a robust approach providing evidence of meeting or exceeding all regulation.
This essential training will give you the confidence to take control of your inspection and to showcase your setting and the childcare you provide. Whether you have been through the process previously or not, we cover all the requirements including the new/proposed components of the inspection process and equip you with everything that you need to know to fully understand and successfully engage with the inspection process.
The focus moves from understanding the framework and legislation (preparation phase – session 1), to looking at the practical expectations (reviewing what is required under Behaviour and Positive Attitudes, Personal Development and the Quality of Education and how to evidence delivery of the EYFS – session 2) to managing the inspection process successfully and completing the Management and Leadership aspect of the inspection with confidence (session 3).
This course is offered as a three part programme to provide you with a complete understanding of all the requirements and give you the understanding (and control) with regards to how they link together.
Who is the course for?
These workshops are designed to support senior childcare professionals who want to understand and successfully deliver requirements set out in the EYFS and EIF (We run a separate childminder’s Ofsted ready series – please ask for details).
