This workshop encourages room leaders and staff working across different age groups to really develop their understanding and knowledge about development milestones, how to quantify and work with gaps in progress or create stretch targets for those already exceeding expected progress.
We use a range of research theories to excite our audience and get them to capture the importance of this subject. By the time they leave the workshop they will have the confidence to knowledgeably talk about the age group they work with, the expected milestones of the group, learning preferences/styles and their impact on that group, curriculum planning for the age/stage they work with and robust assessment techniques based on evidence.
The workshop concludes with a brief overview of planning which delivers high quality education reflecting the new Ofsted requirements.
